Where We've Come From

  • In 1968, Don & Ann Johnson founded Don Johnson Realtors in San Antonio, TX. Since it was founded, it has remained the longest-running real estate company in the greater San Antonio area. Before real estate, Don Johnson was a member of the Counter-Intelligence Corp during WWII and was raised on a Minnesotan dairy farm. Ann Johnson hailed proudly from Denmark and fell in love with Don while skiing in Europe. For three generations, the Johnson family has continued with the company, creating an experienced, family-centric home with an open-door policy for all agents. Bernie Johnson, Don & Ann’s son, is the current CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Don Johnson Co Realtors. Along with his sons, Brad and Brian, they have grown the company substantially while maintaining a strong focus on serv- ing their agents and clients.
